At salt. we are celebrating 10 years of designing cutting edge bespoke textiles to enhance windows in commercial, retail and
residential schemes both in the UK and worldwide.
Having been featured in a wide range of publications and periodicals and collected by the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, salt. is known for its progressive approach to textile design and application, including innovative use of metals and glass. Awards include The Ergonom Dialogue Award, Millennium Product Award and the ICFF Editors Award for Textiles alongside nominations from Blueprint and Peugeot.

When designing and manufacturing we work with different materials and textural forms to personalise the space for which the treatments are intended, creating products that highlight the intrinsic qualities of the fabric. salt. is at the forefront of the use of natural and environmentally protective materials and techniques.
Light is fundamental to the design and form of our products, focusing on how it travels through the fabric producing an effect which filters light into a space without compromising the need for privacy. Our vast knowledge of colour combines with beauty to skilfully achieve the products’ functional requirements.
